Investing in Real Estate

Baraka Realty provides you with a unique opportunity to buy shares in an investment property.  An investment property is a real estate property purchased to generate passive income. In other words, the property can earn a return on investment through rental income, resale, or both. As an investor, you enter a partnership with Baraka Realty to buy real estate investment properties and own a proportionate share in the total value of a purchased property.  As an investor, you can generate profits in the short term by fixing and flipping properties, renting them, or selling them for a profit as a longer-term investment.

Baraka Homes

Investments in Baraka Homes is a long-term investment modality in which you as the investor provide funds to Baraka Realty to purchase homes for Baraka's clients.  Baraka Realty pools investment funds into a single bucket which is then used to enter into co-ownership with potential buyers who are looking to purchase residential homes.  As an investor in these Baraka Homes, you own equity in a Baraka's purchased property where your funds are invested and you receive monthly rental income as well as a small portion of the principle as agreed to with a buyer in an agreed frame.  The timeframe could be anytime from 1 year to 30 years.

Baraka Rentals

Investments in Baraka Rentals provide you with a great opportunity to own a share in a purchased property equivalent to your investment funds in a mushaira-based, profit-and-loss sharing mechanism.  Baraka Realty co-owns the property and manages it on your behalf.  The properties are rented out for five years during which you will receive monthly rental income proportionate to your invested funds in the rental property.  Baraka Realty will keep the house as a rental for a minimum of 5 years after which the property is sold in the market and you, as the investor, will receive your principal investment funds plus any profit that may be made from the resale of the rental property.

Investing in Baraka Fix-Up Homes is another short-term investment modality in which your funds are invested in purchasing an underpriced home in need of a fix-up.  The property is then renovated and resold in the market for a higher price including a profit.  When sold you will receive a share in the profit made proportionate to your invested funds.  The cost of renovations, maintenance costs, and management fees will be charged proportionately to your share in a purchased property.  As an investor, you can own a full fix-up property or shares proportionate to your investment in a shared fixed-up property.
